Erika Ricciardi was born in Rome on November 27th, 1969. She graduated at the International School of Violinmaking of Cremona in 1987, under the guidance of Master Giorgio Scolari – she also graduated in piano in 1995.

She has worked in the workshops of Master Stefano Conia and Master Riccardo Bergonzi for five years as co-worker and then as an independent worker.

She attended a Master class about set-up organized by the Consortium of Violinmakers “A. Stradivari Cremona” given by Master Christian Bayon and one organized by “Liuteria Parmense” with the Master Lambert Houniet.

She runs her own activity in Cremona where she makes and repairs violins, violas and cellos.
